The 2023 Writers Strike may delay the return of Severance until 2023 or 2024.
The staff of Severance Season 2 stopped production on May 8 because they wanted to join the picket lines. Unfortunately, we do not think that work will begin while the 2023 Writers Strike continues.
There’s some good news. Ben Stiller has hinted at the possibility of more Severance after season 2.
It has taken a long time to get Severance onto TV. Stiller said to Variety that he first read Dan’s Pilot over five years ago. It’s been a multiseason story for a long time, and I am really happy we can continue it. I’m grateful to our friends from Apple TV Plus who have supported it all the way.”
Severance Season 2 plot Speculation
It’s difficult to predict where Severance Season 2 will take the story. The last episode gave us a few hints as to where the show may be heading.
Mark finds out that his wife is alive at the end of Severance Season 1 of the drama series. He thought she was dead. Severance season 2 will be no different, even though the main characters often forget about their own lives.
We’re sure we’ll see Helly’s poor performance at the party that her father Jame Eagan – the CEO of Lumon Industries – threw for Severance Season 1. We hope that the information Irving learned about Burt in Severance Season 2 will be revealed. However, since memories can disappear, it is hard to predict what will happen.
Patricia Arquette who plays Lumon boss Harmony Cobel let fans know what they can expect from Severance Season 2 by saying “Be very scared.”
Dylan is also on our minds. We didn’t think things were going well for the microdata refiner when we last saw him. But we know that he will be back in Season 2.
According to EW, at San Diego Comic-Con 2020, the people behind Severance discussed a few plot points. Ben Stiller stated, “There were these very obvious and pressing questions raised at the end of season 1, and we are aware that people are still wondering. We feel some responsibility to make Severance Season 2 a satisfying and fulfilling experience for the audience in that regard and within the world of the series.”

It’s unclear if some of the other guest characters who died in Severance Season 1 will still be part of the story. Yul Vazquez’s character “Petey” kept appearing in old footage and flashbacks.

Who is directing Severance Season 2?
Ben Stiller’s fans know that he is much more than a comic. This guy is a master of drama. His first season, “Severance,” directed by Aoife McArdle showed this. A story in Variety from October 2022 suggests that he’ll be returning for Severance Season 2. Stiller said to Variety that he was “excited and thrilled” to be returning on the set of ‘Severance’ for its exciting second part. ‘”
We don’t know for how long or who’s outside, but people have told us that they like the show. This makes us happy. Stiller, through his company Red Hour Films, is also the executive producer of the show.
Stiller has worked as a filmmaker on many movies, including “Tropic Thunder,” “Zoolander,” “Reality Bites,” and the dramatic miniseries, “Escape at Dannemora.”

Apple TV+ is the only place to watch Ted Lasso’s Morning Show and other popular shows such as Slow Horses and Mythic Quest.

Severance’s season finale on Apple TV+ left viewers with a lot of questions and made them eager to see a second episode. The twist in the finale revealed that Helena Egan, daughter of Lumon CEO Jame Egan was Helly R.’s Outie. Lumon tortured severed employees.
Mark Scout found out that his wife, who was supposed to be dead, was still alive. Innie Irving then led Innie Mark and Innie Mark home to retired Lumon employee Burt. Fans are eager to know what will become of all the innies. Especially Helly, whose outie-ego is owned by Helena Egan. Ben Stiller, the director, has promised to provide answers in the next episode, as well as explore the love triangle that exists between Helly and Mark.
