Demon Slayer season 3 release date
Promoting The Demon Slayer Season 3 has intensified. The actual release date of season 3 as well as a new English-dub trailer were revealed this week.
The premiere of Demon Slayer Season 3 will therefore be somewhat strange. The third season of Demon Slayer will be released in cinemas worldwide on 3 March, due to the success of the Mugen Train movie. The previous season will be concluded and the Swordsmith Village Arc of the third series will premiere.
The third season will be released on Sunday, April 9th 2023. I am still trying to figure out if this includes the current episode that is currently being shown in cinemas, or if it also includes episodes 2 and beyond. It would be strange if this was the only place to watch the premiere. So, I doubt it. I guess the purpose of a theatrical release is for you to see the film earlier. Ufotable is therefore able to earn a fortune.
Demon Slayer season 3 storyline
The storyline of Demon Slayer Season 3 follows the Swordsmith Village Arc from Koyoharu’s renowned manga series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. In this arc, Tanjiro embarks on a journey to a village inhabited by skilled swordsmiths. His purpose is to have his Nichirin Sword, a crucial tool in battling demons, restored to its former strength.
Anticipated to encompass chapters 100 to 127 in the manga, Demon Slayer Season 3 is set to delve into this narrative. This range is comparable to Entertainment District Arc 70-99. The 100th chapter of the manga is just the halfway point in the story, so a fourth series will be coming.
Tanjiro is expected to acquire a new blade at the Swordsmith Village in the Swordsmith Village Arc. It is well-known that the town contains an ancient weapon. However, the truth is much more complex.
The end of the Entertainment District Arc gives a hint at the likely direction that the show will take after Demon Slayer season 3. Tengen has ceased to be active but is still alive. Tengen told Iguro Tanjiro was likely to succeed Hashira. Tanjiro, along with the other Demon Slayers, can now pursue their ultimate goal: Muzan Kibutsuji.
Demon Slayer Cast
Although the third season of Demon Slayer hasn’t yet been released, it is safe to assume that the majority of actors from the previous two seasons will return. Mist Hashira (Muichiro Tokito) and Love Hashira (Mitsuri Kanroji) made their debuts in episode 21 of season one.
The Japanese and English voices of all the main characters from Demon Slayer are listed below:
- Tanjiro Kamado – Natsuki Hanae (Japanese) / Zach Aguilar (English)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma – Hiro Shimono (Japanese) / Aleks Le (English)
- Nezuko Kamado – Akari Kito (Japanese) / Abby Trott (English)
- Kagaya Ubuyashiki – Toshiyuki Morikawa (Japanese) / Matthew Mercer (English)
- Inosuke Hashibira – Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Japanese) / Bryce Papenbrook (English)
- Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka – Takahiro Sakurai (Japanese) / Johnny Yong Bosch (English)
- Muzan Kibutsuji – Toshihiko Seki (Japanese) / Greg Chun (English)
- Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito – Kengo Kawanishi (Japanese) / Griffin Burns (English)
- Tsuguko Kanao Tsuyuri – Reina Ueda (Japanese) / Brianna Knickerbocker (English)
- Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji – Kana Hanazawa (Japanese) / Kira Buckland (English)
- Flower Hashira, Kanae Kocho – Ai Kayano (Japanese) / Bridget Hoffman (English)
In the future, it is possible that the series will include more demons and heros. Remember that this list is not exhaustive. When additional casting information for Demon Slayer Season 3 becomes available, we will notify you.
Demon Slayer Season 3 trailer
You can watch the official trailer of Demon Slayer Season 3 above. It was released along with the premiere date. This teaser, which is really more of a preview than anything else in the show, does feature some of the signature action of the series and gives us our first glimpse at the Love and Mist Hashiras.
Crunchyroll and Ufotable released a video on April 20, 2022, which featured significant scenes from both seasons. It also included footage of the Mist Hashiras and Love Hashiras who will be playing a key role in the third episode. Ufotable released a video in April 2022 that featured the ‘Higher Moon demons’, also known as the members of Kibutsuji’s Twelve Kizuki. Some of these characters will be seen in the third season of Demon Slayer.
How many episodes will there be in the third season?
We predict that Demon Slayer Season 3 has 12 to 18 episodes based on the information we have. We only know for now that the Swordsmith Village Arc is being adapted into season three. The manga had 28 chapters, while the Entertainment District Arc only had 30. We can therefore infer that it will have at least 12 episodes. Ufotable can extend the season by two seasons if they adapt the short arc that goes with it, like the Mugan Train Arc.
Demon Slayer Season Three
The third season of Demon Slayer, the upcoming anime series, will be available on multiple digital platforms. Crunchyroll allows fans to watch the season three premiere as well as future episodes of Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Season 3 is also available via Hulu TV, and Funimation. Seasons 1 and 2, as well, were released on other platforms. It will not surprise us if Season 3 does the same. Netflix currently holds the remaining season. Funimation offers Season 1 as well as the Entertainment District Arc.
The release of Demon Slayer To The Swordsmith Village Blu-ray and DVD on the market may attract die-hard fans willing to spend a little more. You can find them on Amazon Prime.
Is Demon Slayer Season Three the Final Season?
Demon Slayer was adapted from the manga with the same title, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump between February 2016 and March 2020. Demon Slayer by Koyoharu GOTOUGE spans 23 volumes, and 11 story lines. The Swordsmith Village is the ninth arc in Demon Slayer, and the main plot for the third season. If the series continues to have two arcs each season, then we will still have one more season before The Last Battle.
Demon Slayer, a manga with 600 chapters, is surprising short in comparison to its predecessors Naruto Bleach and One Piece, which recently reached 1,000 chapters. The series is about to end, even though only 206 source materials are left. These final arcs, however, will be the most dramatic in the entire narrative.
Final Word
Netflix has released the first season of Demon Slayer, but it is only available with English subtitles. You can watch other content on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
You should know the release date of Demon Slayer Season 3. We’ll know soon when Season 4 is released after Season 3. This post will be updated when I know the release date of Demon Slayer’s new season.
