A Showrunner of ‘American Rust” on the Negative Reviews
The showrunner said, “I honestly don’t care all that much” about negative reactions to the show. It’s just that I think people can sometimes have very little information and still think they know what is going on.
“If you give this show some time, it will transform into something exciting and very different — I don’t think that it wasn’t thrilling from the start — but it was a show very different with seeds for what it would become.”
