He appeared in the News on May 20, 2021, to speak about the Muslim faith. The Muslim group on Twitter used the hashtag #reportonkhansir to protest. The question was then asked if his real name was Amit Sir and not Khan Sir. Khan Sir then refused to reveal his identity even when addressing the media, saying that everyone would know it at the right time. He also said that if this became a habit, getting answers about the name was no laughing matter. Keep it like that.
Khan Sir stated that Khan Sir was his title, not his real name. He claimed that Amit Singh is his nickname, but it’s not his real name. Faisal was not made clear as to whether it was his true name.
