Will there be a Manifest Season 5? We explore the idea, and look at the history of the show on other networks. The story of Manifest, on-screen and off-screen, has been one the most fascinating entertainment stories in recent years.
Manifest tells the story of the return of Flight 828 passengers five and a quarter years after it was declared lost. Cast members include Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas.
Will Manifest Season 5 be coming or not?
Netflix currently offers the first ten episodes from Manifest Season 4. The second part of Season 4 is also scheduled to be released in 2023 on June 2. It is therefore only logical for fans to want to know the premiere date of Manifest Season 5 and how it will develop.
Sorry to burst your bubble but it’s highly unlikely that Manifest will return for a fifth season. Manifest is not expected to return for a 5th season, according to several indicators. The second part of Manifest Season 4 will be released soon, and fans can bid farewell.
Release Date for Manifest Series 4 Part 2
Even though there will likely be no Manifest Season 5, viewers can still celebrate part 2 of season 4 with the fans. As of November 20, 2022, only part 1 of Manifest Season 4 was released. Those who want more of their favourite show will also be able to watch Manifest Season 4 Part 2 in early 2023. It is possible that the show won’t be renewed after this point. Manifest Season 2 Part 2 can be viewed exclusively on Netflix.
Why was the Manifest originally cancelled?
There is uncertainty about the exact motives although it seems ratings played a part. The sitcom began its run with an average of 10 million viewers per night on NBC. It was aired in the highly competitive 10 p.m. Monday time slot. When the third season premiered, this number fell to just three million viewers each episode. Deadline reports that this is the most popular linear TV program on the network.
Oddly, NBC looked into reacquiring the show shortly after Warner Bros. TV began selling the production rights. After seeing #SaveManifest on Netflix and other social media sites, NBC re-evaluated its decision. Netflix won the discussion despite initially rejecting Manifest season 4
Season 5 Storyline Expected
As Flight 828 of Montego Air travels from Jamaica, it experiences severe turbulence. Robert Vance, NSA’s deputy director, informs the 191 passengers on board the plane that they have been away for over five and a quarter years. When the passengers reenter society, they experience “callings,” which are guiding voices or glimpses into future events.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Manifest debuted on Netflix before the end of season 3. Due to their huge popularity, the series immediately climbed to the top of US Netflix rankings. The series was not renewed, despite the fact that it gave viewers hope Netflix could rescue the show. Netflix, two months after Manifest’s debut on its streaming service and breaking streaming ratings records, announced it would not be renewing season 5 of the show and instead would air the fourth and final seasons. It is likely that most of the actors in the latest season will return, as it has 20 episodes, or about twice the normal amount. The show premiered November 4, 2022.
Manifest Season 5 Updated Trailer
Hulu and Peacock will cancel the show in late September 2021. The Manifest’s fourth season will be its last. Jeff Rake continues to oversee the show in the final season. Robert Zemeckis will be one of the executive producers on the new season, along with Jack Rapke, Jacqueline Levine and Len Goldstein. A trailer for Manifest Season 5 won’t be released.
Nevertheless, the first trailer of Manifest season four was released on 28 August 2022. This is an important date for fans. Netflix released a longer version of the trailer on September 24, 2022.

This episode was great! I was on the edge of the seat for the entire duration. It was a lot of fun, even though it seemed like a lot was happening at times. Netflix only has the first four seasons, so we hope that they will add the fifth soon. You can find out what Amazfeed thinks of the show by giving it a score of 6/5.
Review
When I watched the previews, I was excited and eager. I didn’t expect such a strong focus on science fiction themes. As others have said, this is similar to Lost or other applications that operate in a similarly manner. I expected that most of the presentation would focus on the memories of passengers who were struggling to adjust to their previous lifestyles, and to make sense of all the events that occurred in the past 5.5 years. It seems that the focus is more divided than I would like, but let’s face it: if these events had happened in real life, everyone would have been following their every move until a solution could be found. Let’s be honest.
I plan to watch this show at least one or two more times. It will end if things continue to get worse. It’s still possible that it will continue for at least several seasons, and maintain our interest during this period.
Season 3 ending explained
One of the most beloved characters from the show died in the finale to the third season. Michaela, a cop, rescued Angelina in the Manifest 3 season finale.
Angelina, a passenger aboard flight 828, found herself ensnared in the confines of her overbearing and devout parents’ sheltering grasp. Her rescue by Michaela marked a turning point. Subsequently, she aligned herself with a faction of radical survivalists who perceived Ben as an omen heralding the world’s impending demise.
Employing her persuasion, Angelina managed to persuade Ben and Grace to relinquish custody of their child. However, her intentions darkened as she absconded with Grace’s infant after inflicting a stab wound upon her.
Angelina convinced Ben and Grace to give her daughter, Grace’s child. She fled with Grace’s child after stabbing Grace. A passenger on Flight 828 killed Grace at the end of Season 3.
Jeff Rake revealed in an interview with TV Line that Grace was always going to die at this moment. Grace dies in the middle of the series. Jeff Rake, the producer of the show and his production company hoped another network would take the show after selling it to NBC.
Conclusion
Seasons one and two, which were added to Netflix before the end of season three, immediately rose to the top in the United States Netflix popularity rankings. Netflix refused to continue the series, despite the hopes of fans. Netflix hasn’t renewed Manifest Season 5 and only aired its fourth and final episode two months after Manifest premiered on the streaming website and broke streaming ratings records. The final season of Manifest will feature a majority of the original cast and will include 20 episodes, nearly twice the usual amount.
