Canon EOS C500 Mark II
Full-frame cameras use sensors with dimensions roughly equivalent to those found in 35mm film (24 x 36mm). Canon offers full-frame sensors on its DSLR, mirrorless, and Cinema EOS professional video cameras, as well as its DSLR and mirrorless models.

Animal Eye Detection AF was introduced with Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 cameras in mid-2030 as one of a variety of advanced autofocus features to assist photographers with taking sharp shots of moving or elusive subjects like athletes in action, racing cars in motion or birds flying. On cameras with this option enabled, when selecting Subject to detect as Animals, you can then allow Eye Detection; when done so, the AF will actively look out for animals (dogs, cats or birds) within your frame, prioritizing them as main subjects while simultaneously tracking them through tracking them down until locking onto their eyes when possible.
Without Animal Eye Detection AF, photographers would have to manually select an appropriate-size AF point and attempt to keep it over an animal’s eye while photographing. With Animal Eye Detection AF enabled, however, the camera automatically looks for eyes in the frame. It focuses on them automatically, making capturing sharp shots much simpler and quicker – especially for moving subjects such as birds in flight.
Which Canon cameras support focus bracketing?

Focus bracketing instructs a camera to shoot multiple images quickly with focus distance shifting in small increments between each shot, then combine post-capture using features like Depth Compositing in Canon’s free Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software to produce one single image with more depth of field than would typically be possible – ideal for macro photography where the depth of field may be severely limited, but also helpful when photographing landscape scenes. It has especially proven beneficial for macro photography, but landscape photography may also benefit.
Focus bracketing was first introduced with the EOS RP camera in early 2019. It has become a standard feature on all subsequent EOS R System cameras (except the EOS R5 C, due to its primary focus on high-production videography rather than still photography). Furthermore, Live View support is available on specific PowerShot models, making focus bracketing even simpler.
The Canon R7 and EOS R10 cameras allow in-camera depth compositing and cropping of depth composite images, enabling you to see results quickly.
Focus bracketing and focus stacking should not be confused. At the same time, they share similarities, depth compositing (combining multiple images of different parts of your Subject that have focused) could also be taken manually, and DPP’s Depth Compositing feature supports stacking various photos taken at different focal distances on an EOS 5D Mark IV without an automated focus bracketing function; DPP also helps stacking such images compared with focus bracketing which automates shooting processes like this one.

All Canon professional video cameras
Clean HMDI output means the video feed from a camera to an external recorder or livestream does not reveal any of the information in its viewfinder, such as audio levels or exposure details that would otherwise appear visible in the final video output.
Canon’s current high-end enthusiast and professional-level cameras with HDMI ports can output high-quality video to external recorders via their HDMI connections, including Cinema EOS cine cameras and professional camcorders such as the EX-1R. To achieve this effect, switch off Output Onscreen Display by toggling it off via either their menus or DISP buttons as appropriate.
